As a real estate investor for over 20 years, I look at real estate differently than most realtors—not only is it a place to live, but I see it as an opportunity to build wealth. After investing in stocks, crypto, and other types of investments, I strongly believe real estate is by far the best investment class out there for many reasons. Not only was I able to retire early from my corporate job, but it's something you can control and even enjoy. I’ve analyzed deals across the country and coached my clients on how to get started in real estate. I personally bought and sold properties in Seattle, Hawaii, Las Vegas, Memphis, Indiana, Florida, and Atlanta with getting cash flow as the main objective—where your tenant pays more than your mortgage. Then, over time, you can tap into the equity in that home and invest in the next one, eventually landing your dream or forever home. Not only do you reap the benefits of appreciation, but borrowing money is a hedge against inflation, and there are many tax benefits too! I've been doing this same strategy for years and love sharing with my clients not only my successes but the painful struggles, too.
